On 24th Sept 2021, a Guest Lecture was organized by the CSA Department on “Cyber Security and Cyber Crime Investigation”. The informational lecture was delivered by Mr. Harpreet Khattar (Managing Director, Harksh Technologies Pvt Ltd. Mr Harpreet initiated the talk by emphasis on the significance of Data. According to him, “The Next World War will be only for Cyber Data”. His talk geared on various facts of Cyber Stalking, Extortion, Spoofing, Cyber Crimes and Cyber Forensics. He discussed about crime investigation case studies. His talk pursued about Privacy Policy for various applications that are freely available. He catered usage of Disposable Email Accounts and explained the importance of it. At the end of the session, the HoD, UICAIS Dr. Umesh Sehgal and Senior Faculty members Ms. Nirmal Kaur and Dr. Saurabh Sharma conveyed the vote of thanks to the speaker who enlightened the students on the scope of projects in Cyber Security and issues in cyber space.
