With the heavenly blessings of Sant Baba Dilawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji) under the supervision and patronage of Honorable Chancellor, Sant Baba Sarwan Singh Ji and WorthyVice Chancellor, Dr. Dharamjit Singh Parmar, The Department of Physiotherapy, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar, In Collaboration With Gurudwara Prbandhak Committee, Gurudwara Dhan Dhan Shaheed Baba Mati Ji, Vpo. Daroli Kalan, Distt Jalandhar organized an awareness camp at Gurudwara Dhan Dhan Shaheed Baba Mati Ji, Vpo. Daroli Kalan, Distt Jalandhar on 14TH APRIL, 2022 on the occasion of Vaisakhi.
The aim of this camp was to spread awareness regarding Physiotherapy services and its role in prevention of further damages to the body. Along with that assessment and treatment was also carried out for patients benefit and they were encouraged to continue with physiotherapy services. The students demonstrated through charts the importance of Physiotherapy for prevention and treatment of disorders. Special physiotherapy techniques such as dry needling, tapping and cupping therapy was also included in treatment services provided by students and faculty of physiotherapy department of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University. Apart from physiotherapy services, students also explained about the mode of infections & precautions for COVID-19 disease and made them aware to protect themselves from the third wave. Dr. Jares Sahonta, Assistant Professor and Dr. Amarjeet, Demonstrator Department of Physiotherapy, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar were honored with Appreciation award for their immense contribution in conducting the event. This act was appreciated by the villagers and pilgrimages.
