Partition Horror's Rememberance Day was celebrated at Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar. Dr Harpreet Singh (Punjabi Department) has conducted the stage and talked on the occasion of "Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav" while celebrating the 75th year of Independence . He also talked about ensanguined emotive history of Punjab and Bengal during the time of Partition. A special welcome address was given by Dr Aneet Kumar( Dean Academics and UIE) to aware the audience about the importance of Partition Horror's Rememberance Day. Afterwards Dr. Hardev Kaur (History Department) has provided a through information regarding the significance of the day Along with it, she has also narrated the the whole partition incident and also shown the horrific and heart touching images from the affected areas during the times of partition though power point presentation She has also shown newspaper clipping and documents related to terrifying incidents of partition. Overall the lecture was very fascinating and informative which has not only provided the right information to the audience but has also increased their knowledge about the horror's of partition through picturization. In the end, a national anthem tribute was given to martyrs who lost their lives during partition. All the students of humanities, education and fashion designing along with their faculty members were present on this occasion.
