Dream Project of the revered saints of Dera Santpura Jabbar, Sant Baba Bhag Singh Ji, Sant Baba Hardyal Singh Mussafir Ji and Sant Baba Malkit Singh Ji was realised by the establishment of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University vide Punjab Government Act 6 of 2015. The journey started with primary education, then moved ahead to secondary education followed by higher education in the form of Colleges, Institutes and finally the University. The Founder Chancellor of the University, Sant Baba Malkit Singh Ji had noble and great vision of providing higher education to the poor rural students of the area who could not afford to go to distant places for higher education in different programmes and therefore, worked for establishment of the University.
