International Women Day Celebration play title ("ALL UP FOR HER")

With the heavenly blessings of Revered Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji) and with the benign endorsement of our Chancellor Sant Baba Sarwan Singh ji, able guidance of respected Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar , and under the aegis of IQAC, Gender champion Scheme Implementation Committee has celebrated International Women’s Day on 8th March 2022, with the play title "ALL UP FOR HER". This day is celebrated as a global day to recognize the social, economic, political, and cultural contributions that women have made to society. Students from various departments have participated enthusiastically in the event. They were gathered in a big hall to celebrate this day.Event begun with welcome speech of Ms. Surinder Kaur Grewal, Department of English. She shared significance of this day with students and also motivated the students to participate in such events. Students showcased their talent through different characters in play by exploring some of the reasons why education is important in women’s life. The message that was given by the play was very powerful. Women empowerment and all should stand together for women was theme of the play. The function ended with the vote of thanks by Ms. Surinder Kaur Grewal (Assistant Professor, Department of English).
