Lecture on “Gender Sensitization”

The Gender Champion Scheme Implementation Committee of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University has organized an awareness lecture on “Gender Sensitization” at Government High School, Ghurial Jalandhar on 21st October 2022.
The lecture delivered by Dr. (Prof). Ramandeep Chahal, The chairperson of the Committee. She spoke about gender, gender equality and inequality, problems of gender inequality, major reasons for gender discrimination, sexual harassment at workplace. She talked about the legal provisions that are available for the help of females to get protected from these kinds of activities. She said that men and women are needed to be sensitized towards gender issues, the boundaries that are existed in the society on the basis of the gender should have to be crossed. All the members of The Gender Champion Committee were present over there. At the end the Principal of the School appreciate the efforts of the committee that are made by this towards the serious social issue.
