With the heavenly blessings of Revered Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji) and with the benign endorsement of our Chancellor Sant Baba Sarwan Singh ji, able guidance of respected Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar, and under the aegis of IQAC, Gender Champion Scheme Implementation Committee celebrated International Women’s Day on 6th March, 2023. On occasion of women’s day Essay Writing completion and Poster Making competition with theme “Women Empowerment” was held. The main aim to organize this competition was to show various problems faced by women in the past, present situation of women and how women empowerment brought charismatic changes in the lives of women. The First, Second and third winner of the Essay Writing Competition were Harjot Kaur, Puranjot Kaur and Sumansh Rana from CSE department, respectively. First, Second and Third winner of the Poster Making Competition were Mandeep, Harman and Chahat Kumar from Management department, respectively.
The function ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. Ramandeep Kaur Chahal, Chairperson Gender Champion Scheme Implementation Committee. All the members Ms. Surinder Kaur Grewal, Ms. Ramanpreet Kaur, Ms. Kuljeet Kaur and Dr. Vivek were present in the hall. More than 60 students from various departments participated enthusiastically in the event. The event was a great success with the contribution of all the members.
