Tree Plantation Drive

Objectives:
-To motivate the attendees to keep their surroundings green and clean by undertaking plantation of trees.
Highlights:

• The Dynamic Drillers Club, Department of Electrical Engineering (EE), UIET, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University (SBBSU), Jalandhar, organized a Tree Plantation Drive as a part of the Environment Day 2023 celebrations on the theme “Invest in our Planet”, on 24th April, 2023.
• The activity co-ordinatos were Dr. Amandeep Singh (Prof., EE, UIET) Er. Arshdeep Singh (Faculty Co Co-ordinator, Dynamic Drillers Club, EE, UIET).
• The club members planted around 10 saplings in the school premises.
• Furthermore, Dr. Amandeep Singh (Professor, EE, UIET), gave a lecture on how planting trees can prove to be beneficial for the environment, how human beings get ample oxygen because of trees and how cutting down trees mercilessly has impacted the environment adversely. He advised that if future generations wanted to enjoy Mother Earth’s resources and privileges, then it’s important that they plant and save trees.
• The drive was a huge success, empowering students with substantial knowledge of environment and plants.
