Extension Activity on “Social impacts of using renewable energy”

Objectives:
-To familiarize the attendees with the social impacts of using renewable energy.
Highlights:

• The Electrical Engineering Department, UIET, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University (SBBSU), Jalandhar in collaboration with Mission K3 NGO, organized an extension activity on the topic “Social impacts of using renewable energy” at Lawrence Public High School, Chabbewal, Distt. Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India on 5th February, 2024.
• A total of 5 students and 2 faculty members organized the extension activity at Govt ITI, Hoshiarpur.
• Attendees learned about the social benefits of using renewable energy, such as reducing poverty, climate change reduction, and improved health by lowering pollution from gas emissions.
