With the heavenly blessings of Revered Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji) and with the benign endorsement of our Chancellor Sant Baba Manmohan Singh ji, able guidance of respected Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar, and under the aegis of IQAC, Gender Champion Scheme Implementation Committee celebrated International Women’s Day on 6th March, 2024. On occasion of women’s day Essay Writing completion with theme “Women Empowerment” was held. The main aim to organize this competition was to show various problems faced by women in the past, present situation of women and how women empowerment brought charismatic changes in the lives of women. The winners of the Essay Writing Competition were Tarandeep Kaur, Dinesh Bhardwaj, Kiranjit Kaur,Ajay Kumar, Gurjasleen Kaur of CSE department.
The function ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. Nirmal Kaur, Chairperson Gender Champion Scheme Implementation Committee. All the members, Ms. Surinder Kaur Grewal, Ms. Ramanpreet Kaur, Ms. Kuljeet Kaur were present in the hall. More than 35 students from various departments participated enthusiastically in the event. The event was a great success with the contribution of all the members.
